Association of Professional
Trainers & Instructors
This association was created to recognize,
educate and provide a professional network for the community
of Californian dressage trainers and instructors.
Started in 1995, it is growing and gaining popularity across
all levels of the working dressage professional.
APTI serves for getting pertinent education needs
fufilled, decreasing insurance costs via risk management,
and providing a forum for professoinals to network
and share ideas and techniques to further the sport.
Courses have included:
CPR/First Aid for the Equestrian Professional (organized by Kevin Brutche)
Horse Sense, Common Sense: Legal issues for Horsepeople (by Elizabeth Clarke)
Biomechanics of the Correct Dressage Seat: A symposium of ideas
(Mary Wanless, Alexsandra Howard, & Heather Bender)
Teacher Training with Mary Wanless
All "L" Judges's programs are automatically recognized
Rider & Horse Biomechanics with JA Moore
Annual Meeting Events, selected prominent clinics
And other APTI-Board approved courses.
